Dear Friend,

I have no doubt you have a hard drive full of “this one really works” blueprints all of which have brought you little to NO success … meaning you don’t have a penny to show for a single one of them.

Don’t blame yourself - we’ve all done it, yours truly very much included.

So when you take into account that all the sales pages make it sound easy and add into the equation that there do seem to be some people it’s working for, it’s easy to see how you can ask yourself, “Why not me? I know that’s a big, bold statement, especially coming from someone who’s not an economist or a banker … nor have I ever had anything to do with working in finance.

In fact, my own personal history with money has been chequered to say the least.

My background qualifies me in an entirely different - and I believe unique way to make that statement.

I was a psychotherapist.

So I look at money and the acquisition of it from a psychological perspective.

Money has acquired a mysterious status in our lives. 

 It seems to have some hold over us that causes a kind of mental paralysis whenever we’d like some more.

Look, if you run short of milk or bread, you don’t have a panic do you? You just get some more!

Why do we make such a song and dance about getting more money? Why should it be any harder than getting the weekly groceries?

It’s because we’ve put money on some kind of pedestal and then misunderstood what it is!

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not stupid. I mean I know what a pound coin or a dollar bill looks like.

I don’t mean that kind of “what it is.”

I’m talking about where we imagine it fits into our lives.

Nor am I talking about strategies for saving it or investing it. Those are topics for economists.

I’m saying that most of us don’t understand what money IS, in the same kind of way that we can’t explain what a dream means after we wake up. 

It’s THAT much of a mystery - to the wealthy, the poor and just about everyone in between.

We’ve bought into an ocean of cutural myths about this stuff and turned it into something powerful, mysterious and even scary. In truth it’s none of those things and it really is as easy to come by as the next loaf of bread.

I’m going to DEBUNK all of those myths and once I do…
