That’s such a common – and very sad – story … but it really, really isn’t your fault.

Because it’s outdated, it just gets blindly repeated without anyone actually thinking about whether it works any more – or even if it’s needed.

Sadly, it’s usually produced by sellers who are just out to make a quick buck but who don’t actually care if you – the end user – gets anything close to the promised result or not.

They know that most people won’t try it, (another sad fact), and of those who do but fail, well, they’ll just blame themselves.

Meanwhile, they’re onto the next money-spinner, which will just be a variation on the same old themes.

“Get-rich-quick” and “money-for-nothing” will always fool enough people so the sellers can make their money – and run.

Ask any snake oil seller.

Do you know that a lot of scientific studies have shown that people have their best ideas in the shower?

Now, because some of those ideas are, on the face of it at least, silly, many are brilliant.
