“Quick Writing Royalties” Review – The Pros & Cons

For once, the title of this product does exactly what it says. No hype, no “blind copy” – this is about getting AI to write a newsletter that you can publish and monetise on Substack.com.

I like the idea because…

  • You’re in control, unlike self publishing on Amazon
  • The traffic on Substack is built in
  • People are far more likely to go for a newsletter than ebooks
  • Using AI means you no longer have to come up with the content.

    Product Overview

There are 7 video based lessons.

Andreas is a good speaker and teacher, but I must point out that in some areas, he was learning as he was teaching on camera, so he’s no expert!

With that said, he doesn’t need to be.

The idea is solid and without his program I wouldn’t have even known this was possible. He also shows you that there’s more than one way to monetise the content, so he does deliver on the title’s promise.

  • Pros

    • Clever and original idea
    • I tested this with the free version of ChatGPT (3.5) and got outstanding results – so no cost.
    • No writing involved, apart from the initial idea
    • Far better royalties than Amazon will pay

    Cons

    • Presenter could have done a little more homework before recording one or two of the videos.
    • You will still need to upload, (i.e. publish) your newsletter each week – or however often you decide
    • I would recommend a little editing of AI’s output – put your own style in it – so a few minutes more work if you heed that advice.

    Summary

Don’t expect surprises from “Quick Writing Royalties.” (I’m saying that’s a good thing).
You’ll get exactly what’s described – a way of making royalty income by publishing newsletters on Substack on virtually any topic. (As long as there’s an audience for it.)

All you need to do is come up with the idea.

Whilst both I and Substack would recommend you give your traffic a kickstart, (use your own connections or list if you have one), there’s traffic coming to Substack in droves, so you can really start from scratch. Andreas does touch on ways to get traffic from the platform itself.

It’s not the most comprehensive course I’ve ever seen, but it did fire my imagination, it opened my eyes to the possibilities of a platform I’d thus far ignored and, even though I personally love writing, I’ve never been in love with the notion of producing content on demand week in, week out … and now, with AI, you don’t have to.

AI will do it for you. Quite honestly, there’s no reason why you couldn’t have a year’s worth of content ready in a couple of hours.

Whilst I’m sure most of us won’t get the tens of thousands of subscribers some of the “substacks” shown have, even a couple of hundred at between $7 and $10 a month would be very welcome. An extra $2k a month for an afternoon’s work per year? I’m in!
